Style
Hartman isn’t a big winger but he plays a big-mans game. Hartman is a tough 5’11 and plays a very physical game as his 120 PIM’s would suggest. He is a power forward in a 5’11 package.
Gritty, physical, agitator are all words used to describe Hartman.
Ryan Hartman excels in the grinding areas along the boards and in front of the net. He has decent hands and is versatile being able to play both at center or on the wing.

Future
Ryan Hartman will need to bulk up a bit if he wants to play his style at the NHL level.
