My name is Mitch and like most Canadian kids I was introduced to and fell in love with hockey at an early age. I’ve played, I’ve coached, I scouted in WHL (Western Hockey League) for 15 years. I am now retired and spend half my time in Winnipeg, MB and the other half in San Tan Valley, AZ.
I am currently a season ticket holder for The Winnipeg Jets. My wife and I also have season tickets for The Phoenix Coyotes. For the past 35 years I usually participate in 4 or 5 hockey pools or fantasy leagues a season. My favorites are keeper leagues that use the NHL ‘s salary cap with an auction for the players. I prefer Point Based over Rotisserie Style.
I enjoy hockey shows on radio or TV. Some of my favorites are TSN, SportsNet, ESPN, NBC Sports and Fox Sports Arizona. You get the picture, hockey is a big part of my life.
