Offensive Buzzwords

Adrian Kempe is a Swedish forward that plays more like your prototypical North American power forward.  He is a very strong forechecker and excels in the corners and in front of the opposition’s net.  He uses his size to separate from defenders and to drive hard to the net.  He possesses a better than average shot with a quick release and handles the puck extremely well, especially in tight areas.

Adrian Kempe is a strong powerful skater.  Nothing fancy, just up and down his wing.

Defensive Buzzwords

Adrian Kempe plays a solid 200 foot game, working hard in both ends of the ice.

Prospect Analysis

Adrian Kempe is an easy player to like as he already plays a strong NHL style game.  He would be classified as a power forward with a better than average skillset.  Big, strong, hard working forwards like Kempe are coveted by every NHL team.  In a fairly wide open draft I can see him easily being a Top 15 pick and probably as high as a Top 10 pick.
