Vladislav Kamenev is a forward that uses his skill and size effectively.  He is a good skater with a good shot.  Kamenev’s compete level blended with a nice skill-set make him an solid  prospect

Vladislav Kamenev defensive game is solid.  He competes and plays hard in all three zones on the ice.  “200 foot game”

Prospect Analysis 

Vladislav Kamenev’s game looks like it would transition well to the NHL style of hockey.  His nice blend of skill, grit and defensive awareness should make him a Top 15 pick.  Will there be a little bit of concern because he didn’t play in North American?  Yes.  That’s the world we live in now with the KHL being a viable option for young Russian hockey players, especially ones like Kamenev who have already played 16 games as a professional in the KHL.  Top 15, maybe even Top 10 talent.  Could be high risk/high reward!
