Jets agree to terms with Carl Klingberg —
The Winnipeg Jets have signed RFA forward Carl Klingberg to a one year, two-way contract worth $650,000.

Carl Klingberg has appeared in 10 career NHL games, between Atlanta and Winnipeg and scored his first NHL goal on Apr. 11, 2014 in Calgary versus the Flames.
Klingberg is coming off a solid 2013-14 season with the Winnipeg Jets AHL affiliate in St. John’s. He had one of his most consistent seasons as an IceCap and was especially strong in the second half of the season. Carl Klingberg was also key role player in the IceCaps “Calder Cup” playoff run.
Klingberg will be looking to challenge for full-time employment with the Winnipeg Jets this fall but will probably have to beat out the recently signed RW Chris Thorburn and/or RW Anthony Peluso.
He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2nd round, 34th overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
