Analysis:
Brandon Tanev is an energy guy that has good chemistry with Adam Lowry and Andrew Copp so this signing makes sense for the short-term. Fans either love him or hate him. Tanev is what he is. What I like about Brandon Tanev is that he can skate and he competes every night. At times it scares me how Paul Maurice uses him but that’s his prerogative.
Final Thought:
I’m okay with Brandon Tanev as a fourth liner and a one-year contract is a no harm, no foul type of deal.
