Brandon Wheat Kings This Week — Oct.14

Brandon Wheat Kings Info For The Week Of Oct. 14 — Oct. 20

The Brandon Wheat Kings will be hoping to get back on track Wednesday night when they travel to Moose Jaw to meet the Warriors.

Brandon Wheat KingsThe Brandon Wheat Kings begin the week having lost three of their last four and with their annual west coast road trip set to get underway next week, they will be hoping to rediscover the winning touch against a club that they have defeated three times this season.

In addition to sweeping their season opening home and home series, the Wheat Kings came from behind Friday night – in a game televised across western Canada on Shaw – to beat the visiting Warriors 3-2 in an Overtime Shootout.

While that was a great way to kick off the Thanksgiving Long Weekend, the Brandon Wheat Kings failed to keep the momentum going after that dramatic win by losing 5-3 to Saskatoon on Saturday to close out their 5-game homestand and then a 5-1 setback in Regina on Monday afternoon.

Brandon enters the week with a record of 5-5-0.

Following Wednesday’s game in Moose Jaw, the Brandon Wheat Kings will return home to host Hunter Shinkaruk and the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night, before hitting the road for six straight games beginning Friday, October 25th in Spokane against the Chiefs.
