Random Thoughts On The Winnipeg Jets: Sept. 8

Things about the Winnipeg Jets and the NHL that crossed my mind over the weekend —

Instead of being serious all the time and writing a commentary or an opinion piece we will jot down some random musings once a week.  It might be a mix of serious, playful or maybe even a little sarcastic but it should be fun.  If you have answers please let us know.

1.  Is this the year a Winnipeg Jets player finally scores a “Hat Trick”.

2.  I’m really looking forward to being at Gila River Arena for the Winnipeg Jets vs Arizona Coyotes season opener.  I wonder how many Winnipegers will be making the trip?      

3.  Did everybody catch Evander Kane’s interview on TSN 1290 last week?  Are we happy now?  

4.  Who will be the first Jets player to record a “Hat Trick”? (see question #1)

5.  I’m really looking forward to seeing Nic Petan in camp later this month.   

6.  Is there any chance Michael Hutchinson isn’t on the Jets opening night roster?

7.  The Jets play in Arizona on Oct. 9 and Jan. 8 this year.  Plan accordingly.  Stop by and say hello.    

8.  When picking your “Fantasy Hockey Team”, do you pick a Winnipeg Jets player just to have one.    

9.  The over/under on Michael Hutchinson starts is set at 20.  What’s your choice? 

10.  Even though Blake Wheeler isn’t considered a “goal scorer”, he has the skill-set to be the FIRST Winnipeg Jets player to record the elusive hat trick.  I predict Wheeler has a 2 goal game happening and finishes off the hat trick with an empty netter!  Put it on the board!

Now some of these questions are serious, some are just tongue in cheek and some are me just being a _________. (you fill in the blank)
