2013 2nd Round Draft Pick Eric Comrie

The Winnipeg Jets have signed one of their top goalie prospects Eric Comrie, to an ELC (entry level contract). Comrie was a 2013 second round draft pick.

Comrie’s deal is a three-year, two-way, entry level deal with an average annual cap hit of $925,000.

Eric Comrie is an 18 year old Newport Beach, CA native. He has played in 30 games with the Tri-City Americans of the WHL so far this season and compiled a record of 14-13-3 with a 2.52 goals against average and .923 save percentage.

He was drafted this past summer by the Winnipeg Jets in the second round, 59th overall.

Eric Comrie has dual citizenship. He grew up in Edmonton and California, playing in the Los Angeles Selects program. He has participated in the Hockey Canada POG program at the U17 and U18 level.
