Prospect Analysis
Robby Fabbri is an undersized center by today’s standards but he is very skilled and has a solid compete level with a physical edge. In today’s NHL size isn’t the major prerequisite it used to be. The NHL has plenty of players in 5’9 – 5’11 range. You may not want to have 3 or 4 undersized forwards on one team but there is plenty of room in the NHL for quote, unquote, smaller forwards. A solid compete level can make up for lack of size. Right now he is projecting as a later 1st round pick or an early 2nd round pick but don’t be surprised if he move up come draft day. He could be a Top 15-20 dark horse.
