The Winnipeg Jets have acquired forward Lee Stempniak from the New York Rangers in exchange for St. John’s IceCaps forward Carl Klingberg.

Lee Stempniak will become a UFA on July 1, 2015. He signed a 1 year contract with the New York Rangers this past summer for $900, 000 with a pro-rated cap hit of $$203,225.
