Eight Manitonans Selected In The 2017 NHL Entry Draft

Nolan Patrick leads eight players from Manitoba to the 2017 NHL Draft podium – 

Nolan Patrick and Cody Glass were the only two Manitobans selected in the first round on Day 1 of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.  On Friday night, Nolan Patrick was taken second overall by the Philadelphia Flyers and Cody Glass was taken sixth overall by the Vegas Golden Knights (their first ever draft pick).  On Saturday, there were six more Manitobans selected, bringing the total number selected in the draft to eight.
