Winnipeg Jets 3/4 Mark Report Card: Def/Goal/PP/PK

Winnipeg Jets grades for the defencemen, goaltenders and special teams –

The Winnipeg Jets blue-line and goaltending actually took a bit of a step backwards in this quarter of the season.  It seemed the healthier they got the worse they played.  Luckily by the end of the 3rd quarter, the defence corp settled down and they are playing much better.  This quarter saw a huge trade with the Buffalo Sabres and the Winnipeg Jets said good-bye to Zach Bogosian and hello to Tyler Myers , with Myers making a solid impact immediately.  Myers and Enstrom look to be a good match on the blue-line.

Winnipeg Jets: Segment 6 Update

UPDATE: Feb.24, 2015

The Winnipeg Jets 6th 10 game segment –

Eleven every ten

My theory is that if you can garner a minimum of eleven points in every ten game segment (on average) and win those two extra games you should be in the playoffs (92 points) or be in the hunt on the last weekend of the season.  The team would have ninety-two points.  In 2013-14 the Dallas Stars grabbed the last playoff spot with 91 points.

The original article explaining my theory can be seen here.
