Another season is underway in the Keystone Junior Hockey League – its 42nd edition in Manitoba. Last weekend all four teams converged in Cross Lake for a three-day KJHL Showcase.Nolan Patrick and Cody Glass were the only two Manitobans selected in the first round on Day 1 of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. On Friday night, Nolan Patrick was taken second overall by the Philadelphia Flyers and Cody Glass was taken sixth overall by the Vegas Golden Knights (their first ever draft pick).
