The Winnipeg Jets are “Flying Steady” but have room to “Climb Higher” –

The Winnipeg Jets have kept themselves in the playoff race despite many writing off their chances prior to the season.  I will give my two cents on the teams strengths and opportunities at the quarter mark of the season.  Flying Steady is what they have done well.  Climbing Higher and what needs to be done moving forward.

Winnipeg Jets grades for the forwards – 

As usual in any hockey season, any given NHL roster is going to have its surprises and it’s disappointments.  The Winnipeg Jets are no exception.  The Winnipeg Jets forward group in the first quarter of the season has had trouble scoring goals and this is no secret.  BUT in fairness to this group, they are executing a new-found defensive awareness not seen in these parts since their arrival from Atlanta.
