The Winnipeg Jets blue-line and goaltending actually took a bit of a step backwards in this quarter of the season. It seemed the healthier they got the worse they played. Luckily by the end of the 3rd quarter, the defence corp settled down and they are playing much better. This quarter saw a huge trade with the Buffalo Sabres and the Winnipeg Jets said good-bye to Zach Bogosian and hello to Tyler Myers , with Myers making a solid impact immediately. Myers and Enstrom look to be a good match on the blue-line.

The 2014-15 NHL season was humming right along for the Winnipeg Jets and Head Coach Paul Maurice in December then in rapid succession the top four defensemen went down with long-term injuries. [Read more…]
